how do you write \7|x^9 / \5|x^6 as a single radical? i hope you understand what the radicals are im not sure how else to type it in
[/code]

If that is

\(\displaystyle \L \mbox{ \frac{ \sqrt[7]{x^9} }{ \sqrt[5]{x^6}} }\)

Rewrite as fractional exponents:

\(\displaystyle \L \mbox{ \frac{ x^{\frac{9}{7}} }{ x^{\frac{6}{5} }}\)

Simplify, and then rewrite in radical form.

Remember: \(\displaystyle \L\mbox{ \frac{x^m}{x^n} = x^{(m-n)}}\)
