Can someone guide me through these two problems:

6x^3/2(√x - 4/√x)

(x^3(y) - y^5)(x^2 + xy + y^3)

6x^3/2(√x - 4/√x) ......................................................................← Is that .............. \(\displaystyle \frac{6x^3}{2} \) ................. or .................... \(\displaystyle \ 6x^{\frac{3}{2}}\)

(x^3(y) - y^5)(x^2 + xy + y^3)

Be careful with your grouping symbols, using too many is better than not enough. Is #1
[6x^(3/2)][√x - (4/√x)] ?

Part 2 is just distribution, similar to FOIL but binomial to a trinomial.
(a+b)(d+e+f) =
ad + ae + af + bd + be + bf
