hi team, I am working through a complex numbers work book and come across a simplification question I need some help with, simplify the following, B÷C when
B=2-j4 and C= -3+j3 I have never done a simplification by division question before, I have attached the information sheet I was given, any help would be appreciated!

This is what I have come up with, does this look correct?

… does this look correct?
Hi Flimjabs. Yes -- it matches my work, except for the following.

I'd recognized the form (-3 + 3j)(-3 - 3j) as the factorization for a difference of squares, so I didn't need to multiply it. I just wrote the difference between the squares (-3)2 and (3j)2.

(A + B)(A - B) = A2 - B2

Good job ?
