Simplifying an Ellipse Equation

I’ve spent a while trying to simplify this equation into ellipse form, but I can’t get it! Please help...

In the third line of your work, on the left you are adding \(9(25)+4(1)\) but on the right you are only adding \(25+1\).

It is possible that the given equation might not an ellipse. That will happen if the right hand side really was negative.
