Simplify ( sin(x) - x* cos(x))*( cos(x) + x*sin(x))

The same way I'd simplify (a-b)(c+d), and then there might be a trig identity or two that I could apply. I don't think there's much you can do, unless you were given specific directions about the required final form.
 
This expression was part of a curvilinear integral, but I think I got the main formula wrong.. Sorry for my mistake.
