Simplify radical expressions: sx+4x-3x-12/sx+4x+6x+24

sx+4x-3x-12/sx+4x+6x+24
How do you simplify this? Can you show the steps? I am having a very hard time with this.

I don't see any "radicals" (square roots, cube roots, etc) in this expression...? Or do the s's stand for "square root"...?

What you've posted means the following:

. . . . .sx + 4x - 3x - [ 12 / (sx) ] + 4x + 6x + 24

Combining "like" terms, you get:

. . . . .(s + 11)x + 24 - [ 12 / (sx) ]

Was that what you meant...?
