I need to simplify cbrt40 * 4cbrt5.
Would I get 4cbrt200?
If so would I simplify by getting 4* 2cbrt25?

That makes absolutely no sense, Murph;
post the original problem IN FULL :shock:

40 = 2<SUP>3</SUP>*5

cuberoot(23*5) = 2 cuberoot(5)

2 cuberoot(5) * 4 cuberoot(5) = 2*4*cuberoot(5)*cuberoot(5)
or,
8 cuberoot(25)

Looks like you've done all but the very last simplification step, that of multiplying 4*2.

YIKES! I thought cbrt meant c*b*r*t :shock:
Apologies, Murph :wink:
