the problem asks me to simpflify the expression
(2x)/(x^2-6x+9) - (8)/ (x^2-2x-3)

so far i did this
(2x)/(x-3)(x-3) - (8)/(x-3)(x+1)

now what? i dont know what to do next...

Re: this is hard!help me!

get a common denominator and subtract the two fractions ...

\(\displaystyle \frac{2x(x+1)}{(x-3)(x-3)(x+1)} - \frac{8(x-3)}{(x-3)(x-3)(x+1)}\)
