Simplify Check: sqrt 20 / sqrt 15; my ans: 2/3 sqrt3

\(\displaystyle \L
\frac{{\sqrt {20} }}{{\sqrt {15} }} = \sqrt {\frac{{20}}{{15}}} = \sqrt {\frac{4}{3}} = \frac{2}{{\sqrt 3 }} = \frac{{2\sqrt 3 }}{3}\)

Simplify Check

Skeeter/pka,

That is what I got. How do you type those symbols? I know I am asking alot of questions, but just trying to learn.

At the top of the page, find the "Forum Help" drop down. Read the sections on LaTeX.

Notation is the greatest obstacle to doing mathematics online!
At the top of this page is a tab “Forum Help”.
On that tab is a link to Karl’s notes on typing mathematics.
If you are doing a great deal of online mathematics, learning basic LaTeX is worthwhile.
