Simplify 2x - 3sqrt(y) / 4x - 9y

If only we could persuade you to write clearly.

Do you mean this: [2x-3sqrt(y)]/(4x-9y)
Do you mean this: [x-sqrt(y)]/(2x-3y)

It DOES make a difference. Write so that all can understand. YOU know what you mean, I hope, but we don't unless you can communicate it clearly.

Simplify

I meant [2x-3sqrt(y)]/(4x-9y) - Sorry I am refreshing my skills

\(\displaystyle \L \frac{2x - 3\sqrt{y}}{4x - 9y}\) will not simplify any further.

now, if it were \(\displaystyle \L \frac{2\sqrt{x} - 3\sqrt{y}}{4x - 9y}\) ... that's another story.
