E is an exponent so 10 to -3 power. 10 to -5

would it be (.0905)(.000222) or .000020091 ? Or something else.

How did you get that 9.05 * 10^-3 equalled 0.0905? (Check your count of the digits!) (here)

Yes, your answer is correct. As you've noted, the parentheses in no way affect the outcome. That is to say: (9.05 x 10^-3)(2.22 x 10^-5) = 9.05 * 10^-3 * 2.22 * 10^-5 = 9.05 * 2.22 * 10^-8 = 0.00000020091
