Similar triangles

Hello,

I have this problem (and the answer)... but I can't figure out how the answer is being arrived at. Can you walk me through it?

Use the fact that the triangles are similar to label the appropriate angle in the larger triangle with "theta". Then take the appropriate trig ratio. Solve the ratio for "D=". :wink:
