I could use a little help my text book is confusing me.

This is from one of the examples. A=42 degrees, b=12, a=22.

Iknow that a/sinA= b/sinB= c/sinC. my problem is in solving for Sin B my result is.

12(sin(42)/22)=.3649=sinB but how do I get the anle of sin B from this result?
Any help would be appreciated. I am sure I know this but the textbook just goes from 12(sin42)/22)=21.41 degrees without any further explanation and it is crossing my wires.

are you familiar with the inverse sine function on your calculator?

sin-1[12sin(42)/22] = 21.41

Thanks, I figured that out a minute ago. But, thank you for responding I appreciate the help.

When I use the inverse sin on this I get 21.5532 my textbook gives 21.41? what could account for this I have entered it repeatidly and keep getting 21.55.
