Setting up a word problem

I need help setting up this problem. I not sure I am doing it right>
The question is: In 2004, approxiamately 140 million desktop PCs were sold worldwide, increasing at a rate of 4.8 million PCs per year. Write a function that models the number od desktop PCs sold worldwide, D, in millions, x years after 2004

The ENTIRE problem wants you to learn how to translate. After translating, there is nothing left to do.

In 2004: 140 MM
In 2005: 140 MM + 4.8 MM = 144.8 MM
In 2006: 140 MM + 2(4.8 MM) = 140 MM + 9.6 MM = 149.6 MM

It's almost done. Generalize!
