I have just spent hours copying tons of notes for my calculus exam tomorrow, but I don't remember seeing anything about "series". What the heck is that? lol Any help would be much appreciated. I am currently checking it out on another math website, but you guys always explain it 100x's better.

Hey, Lizzie.

A series is the sum of a sequence of terms, to quote Wikipedia at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Series_(mathematics)

(copy and paste the full url into your browser)

Series come in all shapes and forms.

Presumably if series haven't been covered in your notes and you haven't seen them before, they won't be in your exam. If that's the case, have a read up on them after your exam.

Ok, thanks Unco! I don't think they'll be on the exam. (That's a good thing.) Thanks for the site. I will check it out after my exam.
