I don't even know where to start on this problem. Directions say to verify the identity.

sec^6x(sec x tan x)- sec^4 x (sec x (sec x tan x) = sec^5 x tan^3 x

Help please!

First check your problem very carefully - and make sure you have posted the correct problem (I have my doubts)

Then multiply out left-hand-side and factor out sec^5 x tan x

Please show your work, indicating exactly where you are stuck - so that we know whwere to begin to help you.
