scatter plot and inequalities..urgent!

After drawing a scatter plot I had to enclose it with a polygon. I now need to find inequalities defining the interior of the polygon. Please help. I know I have to use y>=mx +b
 
Draw the sides. Extend the lines until you see points on them that you feel you can measure well (that is, points on or very close to axis scale markings). Once you have two points on each line, follow the process you learned for finding the line equation. If you want the part above the line, turn the line equation into "y>"; if you want the part below the line, thur the line equation into "y<".

Thank you! When you say axis scale markings you mean the plotted points correct? I found 5 line equations for each side of the polygon. Now that I have these 5 line equations are they the inequalities that define the interior of the polygon or am I suppose to something more with them? Thanks again
