If an employee is paid twice per month $2500.34, what is the employee annual yearly salary? At the end of the first year of employment the employee received a promotion, and 6% salary increase. What's the employee annual salary at the new position?

If you are paid bi-weekly (every 14 days, opposed to some companies that pay every 15 days), this does not work. The right way to do it is to multiply your hourly wage by the number of hours you work in a day. This is your daily wage. Multiply the daily wage by the number of days you work in a week. This is your weekly salary. Multiply your weekly salary by 2 to obtain your bi-weekly salary. Here is where it changes. Once you have your bi-weekly salary, multiply this by 26. There are 26 payments in a year (52 weeks divided by 2). If you want to be more accurate, add one day's salary to the previous result (the previous result gives you what you earn for 364 days of work, not 365). One day makes a difference ;-) 65k
