Rotations: is clockwise abt fixed pt same as anticlockwise?

Elizabeth needed to turn a figure 180 degrees clockwise about a fixed point. She asks If I tunred it counterclockwise 180 degrees instead would the image be diffrerent?

I would say the two images would be reflections of one another, but I am really confused.

Cut a shape out of a piece of paper. Make it something irregular, so you can tell one end/side from another. Then try doing various rotations. See what you get! :wink:
