Please show the specifics of your work. How do you get sin^2(x)/cos^2(x) ? I would expect to use an integral with respect to t, not x. I would certainly not expect to see the sine of x, which itself is the tangent of t.
Of course the integral diverges. Look at your graph. You have a horizontal asymptote [MATH]y=1[/MATH] and the graph goes off to [MATH]x \to \infty[/MATH]. I'm guessing you have stated the problem incorrectly or incompletely.
