I was wondering if someone could please check over this? There are about 9 problems...you do not have to look at all of them...I have been having a lot of trouble with this unit, but I would like to make sure that i have got it...

Take #17:
WHY are you showing the 6 ratios?

You're given a=3 and c=5, what's b?
a^2 + b^2 = c^2
9 + b^2 = 25
b^2 = 16
b = sqrt(16)
b = 4

Sqrt(b^2) = sqrt(16) is not necessary

I'm sorry, I should have told you...the directions say to find the values of the six trigonometric functions...also, I was just showing my work (taking the sqrt of both sides)

Did I do these correctly?
Unfortunately, since we don't have the problem statements nor their instructions, it is difficult to say whether the (unknown) questions have been answered correctly. Sorry. :oops:

Eliz.

the directions say to find the values of the six trigonometric functions for all of them except 13, 14, 15, 16 (which asked to tell which quadrant that they fall in)...I'm sorry, I should have posted this information before...
