I AM THINKING OF TWO NUMBERS. THEIR SUM IS 12.. THEIR DIFFERENCE IS 2. WHAT ARE THE NUMBERS? :?
 
Pick variables for the two numbers. Form their sum and difference, setting them equal, respectively, to the given values. Solve the system of equations.
