relations and fnctions

the graph of each figure described below can be a function
or a relation that is not a function depending on how it
appears on a coordinate plane. graph each figure as
both a function and as a relation that is not a function.

Well then as things stand you have given us a completely meaningless question.
Unless you can upload the graph that goes with the question, it is meaningless.
 
that is the only thing they have given me.
there isn't a graph with it.
it gives me that paragraph and it gives me four problems that say
-a set of ordered pairs
-a wavy line
-an angle
-a semicircle
 
I am sorry to say that changes nothing: it is still meaningless.
Here is why. In the graph, there are two semicircles.
The red one is the graph of a function while the blue one is not.
So how are you to know which one is meant by the question.

thats what i don't get...i was hopeing sommeone could explain it to me...
