The question is:
The region bounded by y=sinx y=0,x=0 and x=pi is revolved around the x-axis. find the volume of the solid generated.
Here is what I came up with:
pi integral from 0 to pi (sinx)^2 dx = pi integral from 0 to pi 1/2 (1-cos2x) dx = pi/2(x-(sin2x/2)= pi^2/2
Is that the right answer???
