While completeing my homework, I had a lot of difficulty with these four remaining questions...can you please show me the steps in solving them as well as the answers?

all I have to do is simplfy....SO HARD

1)(2x^2+3x-4)/(x-2)

2) (2x^3+5x^2-2x-15)/(2x-3)

3) (x^4-20)/(x+2)

4) (x^4-3x^3+5x-6)/(x+2)

thank you!

G'day, Sunny.

First test if the divisor is a factor by the remainder test.

e.g for the first one, plug x=2 into the numerator to see if there is a zero remainder (if your calculator spits out zero). If there is, perform long division. Otherwise, it can't be simplified.
