Can anyone reduce?

x^1/3(-8/3x^1/3) - (2-2x^4/3)(1/3x^-2/3) all divided by (x^1/3)^2

Your formatting is ambiguous. Are the exponents all fractions? Does, for instance, "1/3x^-2/3" mean:

. . . . .\(\displaystyle \large{\frac{1}{(3x)^{(-\frac{2}{3})}}}\)

...or:

. . . . .\(\displaystyle \large{\frac{\frac{1}{3}x^{-2}}{3}}\)

...or something else?

Please reply with clarification. Thank you.

Eliz.
