rearranging formula with fractions in fractions - inception!

having trouble with a problem for my electrician homework, got rearranging formulas semi figured out but not they threw this at me. Please help! thanks!

need to rearrange this formula to solve for r1

having trouble typing this out but the 1 is over the other numbers which are 1 over r1 etc and they are all added together

Let

1/r1 = x1 ; 1/r2 = x2 ; 1/r3 = x3; 1/r4 = x4 & 1/Rt = xt

Then the given eqution becomes:

1/xt = 1/ [x1 + x2 + x3 + x4]

x1 +x2 + x3 + x4 = xt

x1 = xt - x2 - x3 - x4
