Rearrange to solve G/(x*F)=H for x

Can you solve for 'x' from the following equation:
7/(x*3)=5
Can you please discuss the steps?
I cannot Rearrange for x
Hi. I could rearrange for x if the equation was G/x=H (7/x=5) but i do not know where to start when there are brackets with the x in dividing the top number.
G/(x*F)=H Possibly multiply by F on both sides first then divide by G x= (H * F)/G? so:
7/(x*3)=5 ....... x=(5 * 3)/7??
I really get confused

You are absolutely correct.
7/(x*3)=5
multiply both sides by (x*3). You get: ......................................edited
7 = 5 * (x*3)......................................edited
Distribute:
7 = 15 * x......................................edited
7 = 15 * x......................................edited
x = 7/15 ......................................edited
........Done....

First you need to realize that what is in the brackets, if you like, can be thought of as one number or letter.
Next you need to know this rule: Note 10/2 =5 AND 10/5 =2. Also 28/4=7 AND 28/7=4. That is you can interchange the denominator with the other side of the equal sign!!!
So G/(x*F)=H becomes G/H = x*F. Now divide both sides by F to get x alone. Then x=G/(H*F). Simple enough??!!
