How to find x in the above?

The full equation is Z = 823* (((x-22)^1.3)/((y-22)^1.3)), generally Z and y will be known, so the unknown is x that I struggle to rearrange for.

Any help?

The equation appears to be able to be restated as follows:

. . . . .\(\displaystyle z\, =\, 823\, \left(\dfrac{x\, -\, 22}{y\, -\, 22}\right)^{1.3}\)

Divide through, use exponent rules to get rid of the power on the right-hand side, divide through again, and add 22. Where does this lead? ;)
