If x/y = 3 and 1/3, find the value of x - 3y / 2x - 5y

PLEASE HELP.
THANK YOU SOO MUCH!

Assuming "3 and 1/3" to be a mixed number (yes, they're hard to write in this format), and assuming the fractional expression to be (x - 3y)/(2x - 5y), what have you tried? How far have you gotten? Where are you stuck?

You've been given worked solutions for quite a few "ratio" exercises so far. Please reply showing full details of how you have worked from what you have been given.

Thank you.

Eliz.
