THIS ONE HAS ME STUMPED. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME THROUGH IT?

-1/5=3/2d

Thanks

Unfortunately, it's not always clear what is wanted.

Is it this \(\displaystyle -\frac{1}{5}=\frac{3}{2d}\) or this \(\displaystyle -\frac{1}{5}=\frac{3}{2}\cdot d\)?

And, of course, you haven't said what you want to do with that proportion! Do you want to solve for d?

THIS ONE HAS ME STUMPED.

Using upper-case letters for everything makes it seem like you're SHOUTING AT US!

Why are you stumped on this exercise? Do you know the reason why?

We like to know up-front what you've already thought about or tried, or why you're confused, as explained in our Forum Guidelines.

By the way, if the symbol d is supposed to be in the denominator, then to show it you must type grouping symbols around the denominator.

-1/5 = 3/(2d)

because (according to the Order of Operations) your original typing means this instead:

-1/5 = (3/2)(d)

Cheers
