Ratio Box Problem: if 35% did, 117 did not, what was total?

Here is the problem:

Before the clowns arrived, only 35% of the children wore happy faces. If 117 children did not wear happy faces, how many children were there in all?

I don't even have a clue on how to solve this...

EDIT: I wasn't sure what forum to post this in, so I'm sorry if I put it in the wrong one.

Ok. So now instead of using a ratio box to solve the problem, I wrote the following equation:

117= 65/100 (sixty-five one hundredths) x W

And I came up with 180. That sounds right to me.
