hey guys I need help with this quotient rule problem:

d / dx 1 - square root of x / 1 + square root of x

I just dont know what to start since there is a square root in this problem and I dont know how to deal with it. Any help would be appreciated.

Dx [(1x1/2)(1+x1/2)] = (1+x1/2)[(1/2)x1/2(1x1/2)(1/2)x1/2(1+x1/2)2\displaystyle D_x \ \bigg[\frac{(1-x^{1/2})}{(1+x^{1/2})}\bigg] \ = \ \frac{(1+x^{1/2})[(-1/2)x^{-1/2}-(1-x^{1/2})(1/2)x^{-1/2}}{(1+x^{1/2})^{2}}

= 1x1/21+x1/22x1/2(1+x1/2)2 = 1x1/2(1+x1/2)2\displaystyle = \ \frac{-1-x^{1/2}-1+x^{1/2}}{2x^{1/2}(1+x^{1/2})^{2}} \ = \ \frac{-1}{x^{1/2}(1+x^{1/2})^{2}}
