Hello, mikexz!

If two typists can type two pages in five minutes,
how many typists will it take to type twenty pages in ten minutes?
This more like a "puzzle" question, designed to distract/confound us.
\(\displaystyle \;\;\)It can be solved with Algebra, but the set-up requires intricate thinking.

Look at the first fact: 2 typists type 2 pages in 5 minutes.
\(\displaystyle \;\;\)Picture them working side by side.
\(\displaystyle \;\;\)Each takes 5 minutes to type one page, right?

To type 20 pages, one typist will take: \(\displaystyle 20\,\times \,5\:=\:100\) minutes.

To reduce the time to 10 minutes, use 10 typists.
