I took the first function and graphed it, then erased the part where x>0 and made a closed circle at (0,0) because it is not included. I did the same with the second function, but made an open circle at (0,0).
My question is, when you combine the two on the same graph, what do you do at (0,0) since there is an open circle and a closed circle at the same spot.
If I am way off base, please tell me where I went wrong!
