Quick law of sin/cosines question

If I use Law of Cosines, then should I use Law of Cosines all the way? Because I did Law of Cosines, and then I did Law of Sines because it's quicker, yet got the angles produced by the Law of Sines wrong.

in general ...

use the cosine law when you have SSS or SAS of the triangle.

use the sine law when you have ASA, AAS, or SSA. remember that SSA may have more than 1 solution.

there is nothing wrong with using the cosine law, then using the sine law ... as long as you use it correctly.
