In a certain electric circuit there is resistance R of 5.0 W and a voltage E of 110 V. The equation relating current i (i amperes), E, and R is

(i^2)R + iE = 17395

What current (i > 0) flows in circuit?

2) An item costs P dollars. If sold for $30, the profit is 2P percent. Find the original cost.
