hi, I had a really hard time with this one and kept getting different answers...

Solve for x: (5-2i)-(x+4i)=7-6i

any help would be great thanks!!

(5 - 2i) - (x + 4i) = 7 - 6i

5 - x - 6i = 7 - 6i
5-x = 7

-x = 2

x = -2


Can someone verify this?
