Question of Time Arithmetic

If three months was the equivalent of one day and one hundred years past how many years would have past?

If one hundred years have passed then one hundred years have passed I think:grin: I'm moderately sure of what you mean but to be more specific do you mean "If three type A months are equivalent to one type B day and one hundred type A years have passed, how many type B years have passed"? What are your thoughts? What have you done so far? Please show us your work even if you feel that it is wrong so we may try to help you. You might also read

As a hint, to do this I would start to set some variables such as a subscript A means type A time and a subscript B means type B time with d being days, m being months, and y being years. I would also assume the same type of relationship between months and years for bot types of time and, if it were important, assume a 360 day year with 30 day months for both [or define those months in terms of days and or years]. The first two equations would be
12 mA = 1 yA
3 mA = 1 dB
Can you carry on from there?
