I posted a post a few days ago. Is there a way to do a search on it and find it?

You should be able to use the "search" box to find posts containing whatever terms you used in your post. You could also click on your username to view your "profile" (from the other-user perspective). Then click on "find all posts by [username]", and look through the results to find the post in question.
