I want understand the relationship in the examples

If there is no explanation beyond the example, I'd call this nonsense. I can't even make a good guess as to what relationship they are claiming.
What is being taught here, and what was said before this exercise?
Now, I do see one possible explanation of the examples:
(6+5)/7=11/7=1.57..., which rounds up to 2
(7+5)/5=12/5=2.4, which rounds up to 3
(8+5)/3=13/3=4.33..., which rounds up to 5
So maybe, for instance, we have
because (12+6)/6=18/6=3.
Or maybe it's
because (12+6)/7=18/7=2.57..., which rounds up to 3.
So this doesn't give a unique answer. My point is, there may be lots of interpretations, if there's no limit to your imagination.
That's why it's nonsense, as it stands. Math can be creative, but not this much.
