Two boys agree to mow a rectangular lawn 80m by 60m, each mowing half. The first boy mows a strip of uniform width around the outside of the law. How wide is the strip?

the question asks for the width of the strip, which is 10 meters.

the inside rectangle would be 60 m by 40 m ... area = 2400 m²
