Am I solving the problem correctly?
Solve the equation by using the quadratic formula (t=-b plus/minus square root of b^2 - 4ac everything divided by 2a) a=the first # b= second # etc
Problem: w^2 + 2/25 = 3/5w
w^2 - 3/5w + 2/25 = 0
-(-3/5) plus/minus square root of (-3/5)^2 - 4 (1) (2/25) everything divided by 2 (1)
3/5 plus/minus square root of 0.04 divided by 2
0.6 + 0.2/everything divided by 2 OR 0.6 - 0.2/2 Answer: 0.4 or 0.2
Is that correct?
