How do I use the quadratic formula for a problem like x2=16?
Write it as \(\displaystyle x^2-16=0\) then \(\displaystyle a=1,~b=0,~\&~c=-16\)How do I use the quadratic formula for a problem like x2=16?

I hope you understand that to actually use the quadratic formula to solve \(\displaystyle x^2= 16\) would be foolish!
