Write a quadratic equation having the given numbers as solutions.

3/5, -9

Is this correct?

x=3/5 or x=-9
5x=3 or x+9=0
5x-3=0 or x+9=0

Quadratic equation is:
(5x-3)(x+9)=0
5x^2+45x-3x-27=0
5x^2+42x-27=0

Looks good to me!

You could write many other quadratic equations with these same solutions....

If (x - a)(x - b) = 0, then c(x - a)(x - b) = c*0

So...if
(5x - 3)(x + 9) = 0, then there are MANY other equivalent equations, such as

8(5x - 3)(x + 9) = 8*0
