Pythagorean theorem puzzles

1 the first one we have f pieces made out of 2 squares that need to form a larger one we have the pieceas and the larger triangle to arrange them in. This puzzle is a Spaulding puzzle from 1974.


2. this next puzzle is called the12 piece pythaggoras smelling a flower puzzle designed by Valens in 1962 it has 12 pieces that are to form a square but we don't have a square to use as the base?

Is any one can tell me where to go to get help or see how others did these problems I would make you all fresh choclate chip cookies! Thanks to and and all that take pitty on me and help! momma oink
 
sorry mom, but I can't see how we can help if we can't SEE the puzzles...

What's "f" ? Why a "triangle"?

As far as I can see, you rearrange the 12 pieces as in any jigsaw puzzle...
