Having trouble explaining this..... 1 cubic foot of H20 weighs 62.5 lbs... if you divide the the cubic foot into square inches, you can say each square inch weighs .434 lbs (62.5/144).....how is it that a 1 square inch column of water 1 foot high equals .434 PSI? Why isnt it .434 x 12? (1foot)?
