PSAT problem: "A honeybee must develop through 4 stages to become a full-grow adult..

I have no idea how to start solving this PSAT practice problem:

Development of a Bee
Stage Duration
Egg 2 days
Larva 1 week
Pupa 5 days
Adult 2 weeks

A honeybee must develop through 4 stages to become a full-grow adult. The lenth and stages of the bee's development are show in the table above. In a controlled environment, a queen bee produces new eggs at a costant rate throughout a four-week period. If 200 of these developing bees were randomly selected at the end of this period, how many larvae would we expect to find?

HELP PLEASE!!!!

The development cycle of a honey bee is how many days?
Of that cycle, how many days is the bee a larva?
How can you use that fact?

Assuming the above is the problem in its entirety, quoted word-for-word, I honestly don't either. The problem states that "a queen bee produces new eggs at a costant [sic] rate," but it never specifies what that rate is. Is it one egg per day? One egg per week? Multiple eggs per day?

The sample space is ONLY the last 4 weeks of egg production. The problem makes sense if the queen can produce more than 50 eggs per week.

"queen bee produces new eggs at a costant rate throughout a four-week period."
Therefore the number in each category will be in proportion to the time spent in said category.
Proportion of Larva in sample will be 1/4.
Answer: 50

That's what I thought too!

I arrived at an answer of 50 based on the same rationale. HOWEVER, the answer key states that the correct response is 100. I have no idea how to arrive at this answer!
