Hey guys struggling with the following question

If \(\displaystyle y=\log_b(x)\) then by definition \(\displaystyle x=b^y\). So \(\displaystyle \log(x)=\log(b^y)=y\log(b)\).

So \(\displaystyle y=\dfrac{\log(x)}{\log(b)}\). qed
