For those who might not be able to view the picture, here is the image and exercise, roughly:

Segments AC and BD are meant to be straight, and they cross at point E.

Angle 1 is angle ABE, angle 2 is angle EBC, angle 3 is angle BCE, angle 4 is angle ECD, angle 5 is angle BEA, and angle 6 is angle CED.

The instructions say:

Write a two-column proof.
Given: m(A) = m(D) and m(2) = m(3)
Prove: |AE| = |DE|

Note: "m(X)" means "the measure of angle X", and "|YZ|" means "the length of the segment between points Y and Z".
